The City of Wetaskiwin has posted the latest Situation Report to keep citizens informed about the COVID-19 facts and figures that matter to them.
A lot can happen during the COVID-19 pandemic - even within the span of a few days. The City's COVID-19 Situation Report is designed to give staff and community members alike the most important weekly news, policies, resources and health statistics at a glance.
The latest Situation Report was posted Friday, June 18, and contains local COVID-19 statistics; an updated list of closures and schedule changes; a list of regional mental health supports; and an overview on some of the city's recent initiatives to support local businesses. Viewable and downloadable in PDF format, the City's COVID-19 Situation Reports will be posted here on the City's COVID-19 portal each week until further notice.
Mask Bylaw Remains in Effect
The City’s Face Coverings Bylaw will remain in effect until 30 days after our number of local active COVID cases drops below 15. This is anticipated to be on July 12, 2021, assuming we remain below 15 active cases until that time.
Refer to the City of Wetaskiwin's dedicated COVID-19 news portal every Friday for the week's situation report.
